Actively participate in standard formulation to promote orderly development of building photovoltaics
On November 24, following the "Notice of Five Departments on Carrying out the Fourth Batch of Smart Photovoltaic Pilot Demonstration Activities", five departments including the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development organized the application for the fourth batch of smart photovoltaic pilot demonstrations.
It clearly points out that priority should be given to photovoltaic and storage integration, building photovoltaics, advanced photovoltaic products, etc., including building photovoltaic projects in which photovoltaics are organically integrated with buildings as building components such as roofs, curtain walls or sunshades, and photovoltaic power generation is matched with the building's electricity load.
There is no doubt that after the 30·60 strategy was proposed, the country has actively promoted building carbon reduction. Building photovoltaics use solar energy to convert light into electricity, reducing dependence on traditional energy. It can not only provide the required energy for buildings, but also resell excess electricity to the power grid, realizing a two-way flow of energy. This energy independence can not only reduce energy costs, but also improve the energy efficiency of buildings.
Building installation standards and specifications are an important basis for building installation and an important part of engineering construction technical management. As a new type of building, building photovoltaics do lack some standards in design, installation and construction. The Shaanxi Province "Building Photovoltaic System Design and Installation Atlas" is edited by China Architecture Northwest Design Institute, and Mingyang participated in the compilation as a participating unit. The atlas is mainly used for the design and installation of photovoltaic power generation systems for new, rebuilt and expanded building projects in Shaanxi Province, and is approved by the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (approval number: Shaanxi Construction Standard [2023] No. 1007).
Mingyang photovoltaic glass is a "one material with multiple functions", green, energy-saving, and energy-creating energy-type building material with strong power generation capacity, low temperature coefficient, and coordination and unity with the building itself. It is very suitable for distributed, component-based, and integrated green buildings. It is an ideal choice for building photovoltaics. It has passed the certification and reliability tests of many authoritative organizations at home and abroad, and is widely used in many landmark buildings in China. It has rich project experience.
Mingyang photovoltaic glass has been successfully applied in many projects

This time, we participated in the compilation of Shaanxi Province's "Building Photovoltaic System Design and Installation Atlas", hoping to provide practical reference and guidance for architectural designers, engineers and contractors by sharing previous experience in building photovoltaic system design, to help them correctly design and install building photovoltaic systems, improve the construction quality and efficiency of photovoltaic buildings, and promote the sustainable development of the construction industry.
