Ming Yang Group helps the 12th National Traditional Sports Games of Ethnic Minorities to create a "zero-carbon event"On November 22, the 12th National Traditional Sports Games of Ethnic Minorities was grandly opened in Sanya, Hainan. Wang Huning, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, attended the opening ceremony. Feng Fei, Secretary of the Hainan Provincial Party Committee, delivered a welcome speech. Before the meeting, the Organizing Committee of the 12th National Traditional Sports Games of Ethnic Minorities (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizing Committee”) proactively solicited opinions on achieving a “zero-carbon Games”. Ming Yang Group, in conjunction with the “Guidelines for the Implementation of Carbon Neutrality for Large-scale Events (Trial)”, proposed a carbon emissions accounting and publicity plan for the entire cycle of event preparation, hosting, and conclusion in response to the scope, technical specifications, and implementation steps of the carbon emissions accounting for the Games.
In accordance with the overall arrangements of the organizing committee, Ming Yang Group, together with the Hainan International Carbon Emissions Trading Center and the Beijing Green Exchange, provided an overall solution for achieving "zero carbon" for the Games. The main leaders of the organizing committee and relevant leaders of Sanya City fully affirmed Ming Yang Group's proactive responsibility and its professional guidance and green contributions to this event.
