The Shenzhen Ruihe Industrial Park Photovoltaic Power Generation Demonstration Base Project is located in the Shenzhen-Shanwei Cooperation Zone, Guangdong Province. As the first batch of photovoltaic building integration (BIPV) pilot projects in Shenzhen in 2024, it has an installed capacity of 1288.16kWp. It will be completed and put into operation in August 2022, and will deliver nearly 1.1 million kilowatt-hours of green electricity to the Ruihe Industrial Park on average each year. This project will reduce carbon emissions by 16,000 tons during its life cycle, which is equivalent to planting 800,000 trees. The project uses Mingyang photovoltaic glass in demonstration applications such as building roofs, curtain walls, sun rooms, and soundproof screens. It not only significantly improves the aesthetic value and functionality of the building, but also demonstrates the perfect integration of green energy saving and smart technology.
